Adrienne Devine, President
|
Adrienne founded CreaTech Solutions in 2007 in order to pursue her
passion for systems analysis and process design. Before striking out
on her own, Adrienne worked with the Puget Sound Blood Center in
Seattle, Washington. In 1995, Adrienne began her career at Puget Sound
as an entry-level Technologist in the blood center's Donor Testing
Laboratory. She volunteered to help with the implementation of the
blood center's new blood bank information system and rapidly
discovered the little geek hiding within her.
Following the successful launch of the blood bank's new computer system in
1998, Adrienne's abilities were employed on a variety of technical
projects, including replacement of the laboratory information system,
implementation of new testing systems, and redesign of laboratory
processes and procedures.

In 2004, Adrienne joined the Quality Assurance & Regulatory
Affairs department and began working with the donor recruitment and
blood collections departments. During this time she contributed to the
implementation of a major software upgrade to the blood center's
primary computer system, adoption of the ISBT 128 barcode labeling
standard, as well as implementation of double red cell collections by
apheresis.
|
The Malaria Risk Maps Reference Collection was born out of a
contract job, when Adrienne assisted a blood center to overhaul their
donor acceptance criteria. The reference maps were so well received
that Adrienne negotiated back the intellectual property rights in
order to market the maps to a wider audience. The map
collection was first released in February 2008. The map collection has
undergone
additional development and refinement since that time, including
development of the Reference Edition of the map collection, versions that include vCJD risk countries and
maps, and electronic versions.
|
Prior to her career in blood banking Adrienne worked in social
services, marketing, and graphic design. The influence of her past
experience is clearly reflected in her human-based and visual
approaches to process development and systems design.
