Countries with malaria in rural areas have been researched to
determine rural/urban population cutoffs according to the CDC's
interactive malaria map. Current population data have been compiled
for locations within areas defined as having malaria in rural areas
and urban locations have been identified on the corresponding maps.

Detailed maps of the 29 provinces, municipalities and autonomous
regions in China with malaria risk have been added to the collection.
